The construction principle behind «Balance Board» is the same as that of the Küsnacht shelving unit by Atelier Pfister: shelves and brackets are stacked freely on top of one another. The design, however, is completely different: Here, each bracket consists of one tinted and one clear acrylic panel. The clear section is barely noticeable, so the shelves appear to be balancing on the vertical acrylic panels – a striking effect that gives the shelving unit a truly unique character.
